Some of the most interesting parties are usually held in private mansions and the people with a lot more resources could even get this to the extreme, having their parties on private islands. However, what happens when you want to party like never before but you don’t own an island? Well, the simple answer would be Ibiza’s best summer destination for those looking for some of the best parties in the World.

The island is visited by millions of people during a year but unlike many other destinations in the World, the parties usually start around May and end up in October with the most parties being in July and August when the weather is also the best.

Geographic position

The island is around 70 miles off the coast of Valencia so it is not that hard to get there. The highest point of Ibiza is Atalaya of Sa Talaiassa de Sant Josep, at 475m (1,561ft), while the land to the south is the lowest point and consists of salt pans that have been exploited since ancient times and continue to be both an industry and tourist attraction. The most common crops grown are olives, figs, and almonds. The long, often rugged coastline is peppered with a mixture of fine sandy beaches, pebbles, rocks, and cliffs.

Firstly, it is true that Ibiza’s best summer destination out there is mostly aimed at the younger generation. However, in recent years the people from the island are trying to get a wider selection of people on the island from families all the way up to single people. This means that some parts of the island are now specifically tuned for specific types of people so for example, the Santa Eulalia, a town on the east coast of the island, has a great selection of restaurants and bars but doesn’t have any clubs so it could be perfect for a family for example.

On top of that, the rent is usually lower in these parts of the island so even though you want to party, it might be wiser to stay here and take a cab or even rent a car to drive at the parties which are held on Playa d’en Bossa or even in San Antonio which is the place where the world-famous sunset strip is.

Now, for those looking to party in Ibiza’s best summer destination out there. It might be wise to plan the trip ahead of time because even though the prices will get high, there might be some good deals on offer which will save you a lot of money. On top of that, there are a lot of young people going to Ibiza to have some fun but not with too much money. These could even take a part-time job at selling club-tickets so they will be able to enter the club without paying a fee which varies between $40 and $80 which is a substantial amount of money considering that inside the club’s people will pay anything between $15 on a beer and up to $1,000 or more on a selected bottle of rum.

Let’s move to the food that can be found on the island of Ibiza’s best summer destination out there. This might be a problem if you get there before May but between the last week of May and the early October, there are a lot of foods shops and even larger groceries’ stores or supermarkets, so expect to pay for a week of food that you will make at home up to $30 which is actually quite considering Ibiza is an island.

On top of that, eating outside would only cost between $5 and $15 depending on where you eat for a single person which is better than some mainland restaurants. In terms of alcoholic beverages, most people will likely buy them from the stores and not from the club which saves them a lot of money.

Ibiza, if you’ve never been there before, is very overwhelming. It’s like nowhere on earth. The best advice is to sleep as late as possible because nothing gets going until around 3am and it goes until like 7 or 8.

With a Mediterranean climate, Ibiza enjoys mild winters and hot summers that can see temperatures exceeding 30ºC (86ºF) and an average of over 11 hours of sunshine per day. Rain tends to fall in the cooler winter months between October and December through occasional showers are not unusual at any time of year.
